To carry out complex projects and the application of new technologies a specialised workforce is constantly necessary. An intensive cooperation with universities and research facilities makes the recruiting of junior employees easier and, moreover, means an intensified knowledge transfer between theory and practice.  

For many years STREICHER has cooperated with the Deggendorf Institute of Technology.

With its research campus and several branch offices the Institute of Technology belongs to the rapidly growing universities within southern Germany. STREICHER especially focuses on the technical faculty with its various studies. There is the possibility of getting in touch with interested students and graduates at an early stage by various programmes and events regarding intemships, work study activities and practical terms.

Within the university cooperation the following measures are offered and carried out:

• Internships, work study activities, practical terms, final thesis
• Dual course of studies
• Participation at the annual job fair
• Participation at several profession panels: civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering
• Funding of the award Dies Academicus
• Funding of measures within the STEM programme/premium partnership
• Company visits of several courses of study
• Partnership within the apprentice project Bavaria/Czech Republic (International dual course of study)
• Support of the students research project Fast Forest
• Participation at round-table-dating TastING (trial studies for pupils)
