Parkrun in Osterhofen with more than 1,200 participants

More than 1,200 sporty people participated this year in the parkrun event in Osterhofen – that means nearly twice the number of runners as two years before.  Again three distances were available this year: A STREICHER sprint route over a 1 km distance for newcomers and two long distance routes over 4 and 7 km. STREICHER was sponsor for the short distance sprint and for 30 students of the St.-Michaels secondary school of Metten.  The parkrun in Osterhofen is – as well as the “Zweibrückenlauf” in Deggendorf – a cooperation between the regional management Deggendorf, the workshop “Schule-Wirtschaft”, the run association Deggendorf and local companies. The objective of the run is to encourage and intensify a relaxed exchange between schools and companies.
Of course this year again, an own STREICHER team with 15 participants took part in the 4 or the 7 km route.
